The examination is divided into various sections: Practical (150 marks) Teaching (150 marks) Theory (100 marks) Project and Conduct (100 marks) Total 500 marks Students have to get at least 50% in each section and minimum of 60%for the overall aggregate is required to pass. If not, students will have to sit for a re-examination with the next batch. Re-examination fees is MYR 500. Practical Yoga asanas are tested in terms of knowledge of sanskrit names, grace in moving in and out of the yoga pose, alignment, posture and stability. Teaching Candidates have to teach a Yoga class showing confidence, knowledge, observation skills, clarity, correction techniques, modifications and variations, ability to adapt to different scenarios etc to the examiner. Theory Students have to sit for a written theory examination consisting of 80 multiple choice questions. Conduct Students are observed from the first lesson to the day of the examination. Conduct involves participation in class, keen learning attitude, attitude towards Master Trainers and classmates, punctuality etc. Project Students' written projects are marked on research contents, originality, creativity, application and overall compilation. Students may be required to give a short presentation on the topic. Project work must be submitted by the deadline set by the Tirisula Yoga Master Trainers. No extension of deadline is allowed.
