Learn the techniques of inversions
with us in this workshop. You will explore the key muscles required
to hold an inversion steadily, such as headstand, shoulder stand,
scorpion pose, wheel pose etc.

This workshop
teaches the techniques of backbending with simple, step by step
instructions to help people who are struggling or wish to improve
their backbends.
Benefits of Backbending poses:
Backbends opens the thoracic (chest) regions which helps improve
our posture and helps to deepen our breathing.
Corrects hunchback posture
Improves confidence
Enhances energy flow to the heart chakra
The 3 hr workshop includes:
Explanation on the curvature of the vertebral column
Illustration on
the correct technique of backbending
Asanas session on
backbending preparation and postures, including Raja bhujangasana
(King Cobra pose), Chakrasana (Wheel), Dhanurasana (bow),
Natarajasana (Dancer pose) etc, with beginners to advanced
variations to suit every participants.
This workshop teaches the correct technique and focuses on the
alignment of the standing asanas by precise instructions, props and
partner work. Correct alignment is very important as it can affect
our spine, joints, muscular imbalances and more subtly, energy flow.
